Lima Memorial Health System provides more than 100 community events, health-related programs and support groups each year that reach thousands of people in the west central Ohio region. Each year, we give back approximately $25 million in community benefit dollars to the region.

"Since we first opened our doors in 1899, we have strived to improve the quality of life in our communities through comprehensive health services. We are proud to offer a highly trained staff and advanced facilities to the region, but we are most proud of the community education and preventative health care activities we do to help keep our communities healthy," explained Mike Swick, president and CEO of Lima Memorial.
In addition to public talks, health fairs and free screenings, Lima Memorial reaches out to our communities by providing educational information that generates health awareness such as heart care, cancer, trauma instances and diabetes. Local organizations also regularly use our Speaker's Bureau to bring our medical staff to their organizations to educate and inform their membership.
Lima Memorial also sponsors and participates in many important community programs and events such as the Equestrian Therapy Program, the Children's Development Center, a number of area Relay for Life events and Project Lifesaver.
