Lima Memorial’s Emergency Center is committed to offering the best patient care possible. For this reason, we staff the ER with a Board Certified Emergency Physician 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This ensures that you will always be treated by the best and most experienced physician in the region. Not all Emergency Departments can say this. Lima Memorial cares about the patients, and therefore goes above the required level by offering only the best and most well trained physicians. During peak hours, we double our physician coverage to ensure that treatment for each patient will be expedited. In addition to this, our staff of Registered Nurses average 15 years of emergency service, and are required to be certified in Trauma, Pediatrics and Cardiac care. At Lima Memorial’s Emergency Center, we go to great lengths to make sure that we are ready for you when you need it most!
During any visit to an Emergency Department, patient care, along with accommodations for the family, are critical. You can be assured that the technology and amenities at Lima Memorial are second to none. For example, there is a phone and TV in every room, to make you and your family as comfortable as possible. The computerized charting increases efficiency and creates discharge instructions that are customized specifically for you, in lieu of instructions that cover all generalities for any given diagnosis. You will leave our Emergency Center better educated and prepared for the road to recovery.
