Lima Memorial Health System has been awarded full accreditation as a Chest Pain Center with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (i.e.: angioplasty and stent procedures) by The Society of Chest Pain Centers. Full accreditation means that Lima Memorial has met or exceeded all requirements established by the Society for the highest quality of care for people experiencing chest pain.
This means that the patient care procedures we have established have been approved and recognized as exceeding the rigid standards set by the national Society of Chest Pain Centers, which ensures our patients receive the best cardiac care in our region.
Patients who come to Lima Memorial Health System are guaranteed to be seen by a board certified emergency physician. In addition, Interventional Cardiologists are on call and available 24 hours a day. If treatment beyond the Emergency Center is necessary, patients will receive immediate attention in our cardiac catheterization lab for full diagnostic tests.
