Detecting breast cancer isn’t easy. It takes judgment. Experience. And few people are more experience than the team at The Women’s Health Center of Lima Memorial. In fact, not only do our patients rely on us, but professionals from around the country come here to learn how to treat their patients.
The Lima Memorial Health System's Women's Health Center at the Medical Park is a comprehensive breast center that offers full field digital mammography and a full range of breast procedures.
Screening mammograms are double read by CAD. We've participated in the STAR study for breast cancer prevention. Every patient diagnosed with breast cancer at our center is reviewed by a multidisciplinary team including a radiologist, surgeons, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, pathologist, plastic surgeons, nurses and mammographers.
Mammography screening continues to be offered at the Women's Center at Macy's in the Lima Mall.
