The Respiratory Care Department of Lima Memorial provides patients with Respiratory Therapists overseen by board certified Pulmonologists. This department provides services to patients with lung disease, those with shortness of breath and other pulmonary symptoms.
Services Include:
- Oxygen and aerosol therapy
- Home equipment instruction and home visits
- IPPB therapy
- Postural drainage and percussion
- Incentive spirometry and breathing exercises
- Pulse oximetry
- Arterial Blood Gas sampling and analysis
- Continuous mechanical ventilation
- Asthma education and counseling
- Bronchoscopies
- Invasive Pressure Monitoring
- Tracheostomy care
- Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing
- Pulmonary Function Testing: The Lab performs a wide variety of testing to diagnose and assess the severity of lung disease with a physician order.
